Dear friends,
It is with great pride and honour that we present students who over the years have received a Beolingua scholarship. We hope their stories will motivate you to follow in their footsteps and join us soon.

I am currently doing a PhD in Computing and IT at the School of Mathematics in Belgrade. My average grade is 10.00 and during my studies I have received several scholarships. Besides the scholarship of the Ministry of Education, the municipality scholarship and the scholarship of the Fund for Young Talents, my favourite one is the scholarship I received from BeoLingua. It was an honour to be given this scholarship and to have learnt English with these wonderful people who are exceptional professionals and completely dedicated to their work.

I was born in Čačak in 1986. I was admitted to the School of Electrical Engineering in September 2005, and I became a student in BeoLingua in October 2009, the same year I became the top graduate in my department.
Awards: 1st prize at World Team Championships in Engineering 2011, Belgrade University award for the best scientific research paper 2011, award of Nikola Tesla Foundation for Students’ Technical Projects 2012, Belgrade City award for contributing to the organization of “Days of the Future: Robotics” 2013, Club SUPERSTE award for the best Serbian young scientist in technical sciences 2013.
I am an assistant lecturer at the School of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade and a BeoLingua student (because one needs perfect English to explain perfectly to robots what to do).

I am currently in my 3rd year of studies of Physics at Cambridge University at Trinity College, where I have completed the first two years with the highest grades. I am also a student at the School of Physics in Belgrade, with an average grade of 10.00. While in high school, I participated in competitions in mathematics, physics and astronomy, and I won one gold medal, three silver medals and three bronze medals in international science olympics. I have obtained a CAE certificate in English, which BeoLingua helped me quite a lot with. I hold a scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Science. I am planning to complete master studies of Physics at Cambridge and then I would like to do a PhD. With the knowledge and experience I gain I wish to help Serbia.
The atmosphere in lessons at BeoLingua is pleasant and motivating, and it makes the process of learning the language enjoyable. I met very interesting people at the school and I have kept in touch with them. When I am in Belgrade, I often stop by just to say hello to the teachers. BeoLingua’s scholarship is one of the best ways to award young and successful people. I believe help in mastering a language is more valuable than one-time financial aid.

I am Aneta and I have been on the scholarship programme with BeoLingua since October 2012. I am studying English at the School of Philology and currently my average grade is 9.14. When I was in high school I went to competitions in Serbian (I won second place in the national competition in 2008), and I also competed in English (I took part in the national competition in 2011). I would like to teach English or become a translator after I graduate. At BeoLingua, I've met people who love English as much as I do, and I have learnt a lot from them. The teachers are kind, friendly and expert, and the atmosphere at school is relaxed. It is a pleasure to learn from them.
I am currently in my second year of studies, but I am planning to do a master’s degree as well, probably at the School of Philology.

My name is Iva Ivanovic. As a student at the School of Organizational Sciences I received a scholarship from BeoLingua to learn English. In 2010 I completed my master’s degree in management of projects and investments with the average grade of 9.43. The knowledge of English I acquired in BeoLingua has helped me complete my studies successfully. During studies I participated in a case study show, which was organized by the School of Organizational Sciences, where the knowledge of English is one of the most important conditions to enter the world of business. Passing the CAE exam was the highlight of my learning with BeoLingua, and this success has motivated me to further improve my career prospects.
I am currently employed as an editor for the informative programme of a TV channel. I use English in everyday communication. BeoLingua’s scholarship has boosted my confidence and enabled me to work with foreign clients. I am planning to improve constantly and acquire new experience in management, and my English skills will be key to my plans.
I am very pleased with the method of teaching at BeoLingua. The teachers are very professional and they make a real effort to explain things in the simplest possible way. And they succeed!

I am currently doing my master's studies in tourism at Singidunum University. I completed my bachelor’s also at Singidunum University with a scholarship for all four years. My average grade was 9.94. I am planning to continue my education abroad, if possible in London, where I will be able to gain the necessary knowledge and pick up the British accent I love so much.
For a couple of years I have had a scholarship with BeoLingua and I am delighted with it. Every day my teachers show me there is something new to learn, and I have certainly made progress. Next stop – London, thanks to BeoLingua 🙂

My name is Bozidar Dimic and I am 22 years old. In october 2013 I will begin my third year of studies of Pedagogy at the School of Philosophy in Belgrade. For about seven years now I have been active in the non-government sector and I have volunteered in multiple organizations and taken part in many projects, through which I have gained interesting and practical knowledge and experience. I believe active participation in public and community life is extremely important and that we, as individuals, can do a lot. But if more of us act together, we can change things and achieve something really meaningful. In the foreseeable future I would like to do a master’s degree abroad, and then, who knows. Where the road may take me. Apart from education and working with children, I am interested in books, computers, graphic design, new technologies, languages, politics, films, computer games etc...
When it comes to BeoLingua, I am more than satisfied with the school and with my scholarship. I used to think I was fluent enough in English and knew all I needed to know, but here I've realized I was very wrong, and the scholarship I got has been more than useful and exactly what I've needed. The teaching approach, small groups, communication in class and the expertise of the teachers are all at the highest level, and I would readily recommend BeoLingua to anyone. I need to add that the teachers are very professional, good-humored and charismatic, which helps create a positive atmosphere in class, and makes the learning enjoyable! 🙂

I am in my third year of law studies, and my average grade is 9.47. After I graduate I am planning to continue to develop professionally in the field of international law. I see diplomacy as a great challenge and my future calling.
I have never thought of lessons at BeoLingua as a chore, but rather as fun. By making the lessons interesting, the school's nice and helpful staff make learning fast and easy.

About BeoLingua:
It is an exceptional feeling when someone recognises and appreciates your long-term effort and work, and decides to reward you for it. This is exactly what BeoLingua did by letting me improve my English for free in their courses. The knowledge acquired in BeoLingua is very useful to me in everyday life, and especially so recently because I've been engaged in a lot of scientific work. Thanks to their friendliness, lovely atmosphere and motivating lessons I have gained confidence in communication and now feel free to speak without holding back. Thank you.

I was awareded a scholarship with BeoLingua when I was doing my bachelor’s. This has meant a lot for my education, because I now take part in international conferences, I read professional literature in English and translate my own papers. Several factors contribute to every professional’s development, two of which are support from the community and the knowledge of English. BeoLingua’s scholarship supplied both.

I'd like to thank teacher Ana and the opportunity I was given to learn English. I met plenty of interesting people and experienced a great atmosphere at BeoLingua. The curriculum is excellent, we dealt with many language-related issues in the lessons. A true little Anglo-Saxon world awaits behind BeoLingua's doors 🙂
